Friendly staff and great food. We stopped by without booking and they were nice enough to wait a little before closing the kitchen so we could place an order for lunch too. We will definitely go back if we are in the area again. Highly recommend!

Fantastic cafe to stop by and sit down watching the world go by. The carrot cake was very tasty and the coffee was perfect. All in all a great place and also, very reasonable prices

We found this cafe by chance while staying in the area & loved it so much, we went back several times. The cakes are super tasty, with a good selection, including for gluten free. It’s close by the river & the staff are very friendly. Nice teapots. Great atmosphere. Great find. Thorough recommend.

We arrived on a rainy October day. Car parking is very limited in Goring, so worth checking out before visiting. When we arrived at the cafe, we sat outside (with dog - drink water was available), and despite the rain the seats were dry; the awning was doing it's job. Inside looked warm and welcoming, but outside was just as inviting. As they do takeaway food, there's a serving window which also services the outdoor seating. Comprehensive menu, with good options - something for everyone, even with dietary requirements. Staff were quiet, but attentive. We placed our order, drinks arrived in about 5 mins and the food arrived just a couple of minutes after. Really speedy considering there were good number of customers in. Drinks: quality coffee and tea is loose-leaf in a pot. Food: Impressive. Clearly home made. Very fresh. Very good quality. No Cash & Carry buy-ins here. Someone takes pride in this place and that was noticeable from the food. Portions were spot on. This is a really sound local cafe in a lovely rural village. It's good to see a business like this thriving. But then when effort is put into the product, it will be successful. Thanks!

Really lovely visit. We used to be semi regulars but haven’t been for years. We were pleasantly surprised as we think it is even better. The atmosphere was relaxed, the coffee good and the food delicious. The shakshuka had the richest thick tomato sauce with just the right spice. We won’t leave it so long next time! Definitely worth booking as it gets busy. Plenty of seating outside if it’s a sunny day though.

Great little spot for tasty, wholesome food in the beautiful Goring. Amazing juices, soups and sandwiches. The shakshuka was one of the best I’ve had! Friendly service and care taken to note your dietary requirements. I’m dairy & gluten free and have no trouble finding something delicious to eat every visit.

The best full English breakfast you'll find! Great quality ingredients, beautifully cooked and plenty of it! Add to that a great location, literally a stones throw from the Thames, and you simply can't beat this place.

Grab a delicious coffee and a treat to eat before (or after) taking a lovely walk along the river.
